Terms of Service

1. Service

UptimeRoad provides fleet workflow software for roadside reporting, vendor discovery, approval tracking, repair status, vehicle history, and preventive maintenance. It is not a mechanic, towing company, emergency responder, insurer, dispatcher of record, accounting system, or legal adviser.

2. Accounts and roles

Each organization is responsible for inviting authorized members, assigning the correct role, protecting access, and removing access when it is no longer needed. Drivers receive restricted access; financial approval remains with an Owner-Operator.

3. Roadside decisions

Assessments are preliminary and do not replace inspection by a qualified professional. The fleet is responsible for confirming provider identity, capability, availability, price, insurance, permits, and safe operating decisions. For danger, injury, fire, collision, hazardous cargo, or traffic exposure, contact the appropriate emergency service.

4. Vendor information

Maps, ratings, distances, opening hours, and phone details may come from third-party sources and can be incomplete or outdated. A displayed provider is not an endorsement or guarantee. During the founding pilot, quotes must be confirmed manually; AI vendor calls are not active.

5. Authorization and payment

Users must not treat an estimate as authorization beyond the amount and scope explicitly approved by the Owner-Operator. UptimeRoad does not currently process subscription or repair payments through the website.

6. Acceptable use

Do not submit false emergencies, impersonate another person or company, access another fleet, misuse provider information, upload unlawful content, interfere with the service, or use UptimeRoad to authorize work without proper authority.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an availability basis during the founding pilot. Connectivity, maps, device permissions, third-party providers, and user-supplied information may affect results. To the extent permitted by law, UptimeRoad is not liable for mechanical outcomes, provider conduct, cargo loss, delay, roadside injury, or costs not caused directly by the software.

8. Pilot changes

Features, limits, and pilot access may change before the paid launch. Written pilot or subscription terms accepted by a company will control if they conflict with this public page.
